On and off since I was 12. Two years consistently.
What keeps you returning to your mat?
The stress and anxiety relief I get from practice.
Right now, Thread the Needle. It helps with tension headaches.
Favorite Mixx class to teach?
Gentle Yoga – Everyone is so relaxed and happy after.
Most interesting/memorable experience as a teacher?
When a client/friend bought me a necklace on her vacation because she really appreciates me as a teacher.
Favorite gentle/calming music?
Piano music or mellow hip hop beats.
Favorite cardio music?
Rihanna or The Prodigy
Favorite music to flow to?
Instrumental hip hop.

Relax/focus on your breathing and you’ll relax your body and mind.
Favorite essential oil to use in class AND/OR personally?
Rose. It’s so feminine and relaxing and not too concentrated that I can use it as perfume.

Mixx Studio when no one is around.

My bed – good sleep is crazy important to me and I’m fussy in beds that aren’t mine.
A notebook (and pen) – to entertain myself with stories/ideas/write a message in a bottle
A versatile, white, flowy dress – because it’s comfortable and would boost my confidence.
